02 — overview
A one-time-use site, built to work for every guest.
This couple needed a wedding website that could hold every detail guests would need — schedule, RSVP, travel — without feeling like a generic template. It only had to work well for a few months, but it had to work perfectly.
03 — challenge & objectives
Generic templates couldn't carry the tone they wanted.
challenges
Off-the-shelf wedding site templates felt impersonal, and guests span a wide range of ages and comfort with technology — the site needed to be effortless for everyone, not just tech-savvy guests.
objectives
A simple, elegant site guests could navigate in seconds, a frictionless RSVP that didn't lose responses, and a design that reflected the couple rather than a generic wedding aesthetic.
04 — research: audience & competitor review
Guests, not couples, are the real audience.
Most wedding website research focuses on what looks good to the couple. This research focused on the guest: what do they need to find, and how fast do they need to find it? A review of common wedding site builders showed the same pattern — decorative homepages that buried the RSVP and travel details several clicks deep.
05 — content strategy at a glance
A strategy that fits in a single page.
goal
A guest can find the date, RSVP, and travel details in under 30 seconds.
audience
Wedding guests of all ages, varying comfort with websites.
positioning
Warm and personal, not a generic wedding template.
priorities
Details · RSVP · Travel · Registry
platform
Wix Studio, fully custom layout
kpis
RSVP completion rate, guest-reported clarity
06 — execution
Structured around its purpose, in order.
The site map was built around what a guest needs to do, not what looks best first: Home (date & story) → Details (venue, dress code, schedule) → Travel (getting there, staying nearby) → RSVP → Registry. Every page led naturally to the next task, ending with the RSVP as the clearest call to action on the site.

08 — future opportunities
Where this could go next.
This guest-task-first structure could extend into a lightweight template for future wedding clients — a repeatable, faster build without losing the personal, non-generic feel this couple wanted.
09 — work
Actual Website Design.
From blank canvas to a site the couple could hand off to their guests with confidence.
